My initial experience of svaroopa yoga many years ago was the quieting of the mind. It made my body tired (at the time I really needed rest!) but it certainly showed me a quiet mind. From the quieting of the mind has come more acceptance of things and people as they are and less trying to change them. I suppose this is love….without so many conditions….. When my mind is quiet I seem to have everything I need and more. Joy then arises in many different ways….

About Meditation Courses
Meditation has been a wonderful way of calming the system in the early hours when the brain just will not shut down or sleep is elusive. I meditate then, even if only for a short time and return to bed still using the mantra and find that I sleep easier’ Name withheld

About the Foundations Courses
I had an amazing time learning about Svaroopa® Yoga. I definitely want(and need) to take this further. I had my sister and a few girlfriends(my guinea pigs) over yesterday and ran a class- was supposed to only be 75 minutes, but went for 2 hours, but the results from feedback from the girls was truly uplifting! They said that despite all the propping etc, they all felt so much more movement and release than from what I would traditionally teach in my normal Hatha class….. Interesting…. – Marg W. It made me realise just how thorough the Svaroopa method is and started me on my Svaroopa journey. Since then I have regained my love of yoga wanting to practice every day and go to as many Svaroopa classes as possible.

It was the first time in a very long time I didn’t feel pain and stiffness in my lower back. It has given me the tools for a more thorough home practice and the ability to teach the Magic Four.
